Weeeeeee it is so nice to wake up and find SNOW in the garden! I have been extremely neglectful of my lovely roof terrace this winter, but hey, what can I do when there is snow out there?!

In case you are curious, those are chard plants in the larger pots to the left, a collection of strawberry plants in the middle and carrots on the right. What am I doing with carrots and chard out there in the snow? Well, I planted them on the off chance a few months ago and none of them has actually died yet so they are still there, waiting to grow bigger… On the inside of the windowsill you can see some (perished) basil, (struggling) salad leaves and two little bay leaf cuttings from last Spring.
