Spider on the Beans and Cuckoo Spit on the Strawberries

Standard

Some wildlife have been playing with the fruit and vegetables. There are spiders everywhere these days. I don’t hate spiders, necessarily. I don’t feel the need to kill them but if they are running around inside I really need to have them put outside. Eugh! However, I think this tiny spider on the underside of this bean leaf is probably fine. I imagine he won’t do much harm.

I think this is ‘cuckoo spit’ on the strawberry plants. I can’t be sure because it is was not foamy when I saw it. The rest of the leaves are totally dry but these two patches had this wet marking on them. I looked it up and I think it is not really going to be a problem for the fruit. Seeing as they are not fruiting yet I think it will probably be ok to just ignore it for a while. I will keep an eye on them and maybe just wash them off with some water if it doesn’t go away. Considering it is not foamy it might not even be cuckoo spit. I will keep an eye on it.
